Looking for that ounce of excitement, whisper of a thrill...
That peace of mind so hard to find.

You sit there, eyes glazed over...
staring out at your empty space,
Divided from the world out there,
Wearing that look upon your face.

Your mind is absorbed by the music...
Your world reduced to a single sound...
But you find no one to share it with,
This fragile solace you just found...

1) I always find something in your poems that relates to my characters (specifically the angsty ones).
2) Makes me want to reflect on what I just read.
3) Then there's the itch to draw it. But it's just a thought. (pay no heed)

Yeah, its wierd how many people can relate to my poems. Maybe because by virtue of all being artists, we all share these common emotions. I wonder if any other person who is not part of this community, could relate to it? Who knows... anyway.. Thanx for the insights. Getting an emotion across is my most important goal and I glad you felt it worked. Thanx!

Holy shit! Maybe by wild coincidence, but I wrote this while smoking a lonely fag. Maybe there is something about the whole thing that brings out these emotions. Or its just coincidence... Anyway, glad you could relate to it! (sorry if it brought back memories)
