Great job. I have a terrible time with both wings and fur, so I scoff at your supposed inability to paint both. And by scoff I mean I'm jealous XD
My only recommendation would be to have drawn his head in 3/4 view rather than in profile. While it's a gorgeous profile, it makes the pictures look somewhat artificial, because the rest of his body is in 3/4 view.
(Hope you don't mind the crit. Overall it's a beautiful piece). I like how his eye simply glows.

Actaully, I doodled him purely based on the Hebrew word Ios, which means 'poision'....I created the character based on that alone two years ago at bible study.
Now he's a Messanger in SoF
