I've read how you are very nervous about these things, about posting something new and different, about showing the results of your experiments.

Well,
don't be.

First of all, because you're an artist, and you are allowed to do and show whatever you want.

And second, because you shouldn't take deviantart/tumblr/whatever too seriously. You can post anything, and you shouldn't be hesitant. Because even if you post the crappiest drawing right now, it'll not be the end of the world, considering how much awesome history of beautiful CG's you have in your gallery.

Now about this particular image. I like it, I like the feel of it.
But I want to be completely honest with you, so please don't be mad, okay Sarapu?

I think that it's a little too messy, the lines, the colors.
I would suggest you to look at *demitasse-lover 's sketches and their appearances, I think her techniques of presentation would suit your style a lot.

But if you like it yourself - that's all that matters. If you like it - dont even listen to anyone - that's of of the most important things I have learned throughout my experience. That, and that deviantart is full of bullshit critics. Like me

This pretty decent, something different from those crunchy line arts, try using the guassian blur to decrease the noise of your sketch, works pretty good with me

The biggest fright of Thomas's life.
