... because he is...hi... so here it is... my first real-ilfe-human-portrait-thingy.... and i really can't believe i did it (when i was finsihed... after hours and hours i was nearly crying)... i'm so happy with the result and i have so much fallen in love with benedict/sherlock (or however you want to call him
) 
... in the beginning i didn't even like him so much, but now someday i printed out this picture of him and because today was a really sunny day i went outside and started drawing him ...it just really wasn't easy, and i konw there are some mistakes, but it's totally hand-and-self-made and i really, really hope you like it!
so leave some comments, please
(and should i maybe continue drawing people in such a style? what do you think?)

This is really very good! People are just so difficult to draw (ahem, especially someone as beautiful as Benedict), and you got this just right. Proportions are normally the most dificult thing and this is perfect. But I definately think you should draw more people like this! If you need any advice, you know where I am!

Ah yes. I have also opted for the "plaster pictures all over wall, can no longer see the original wallpaper" effect in my room. It's GREAT! I also have quotes writeen on little pieces of paper everywhere!

Have you ever listened to Cabin Pressure? It's a fantastically awesome radio programme with Benedict in (Which is such a bonus!) But it's generally pretty damn awesome altogether!

You should totally keep this up! I have recently been inspired to draw more realistically with a pencil and it really improves your art ability! And makes you feel good when it comes our recognisable :3 But I love the shading and you got the proportions spot on! Keep it up.

Were you using graphite pencils here? You have a really lovely soft touch with your shading. It's wonderful!

heh... yes. i just sometimes concentrate so much on the shading because i think that's what gives the picture a lot of depth

Yay! I can't wait to see the next one! Yes, the shading is what gives depth and shape to the whole thing, and you did fabulous at that.
I have some colored pencils, and such, but I'm a bit scared to start with them. I have used them before to add a touch of color though. Maybe I should just go for it. Thank you so much for the encouragement!

Wow!! *_* Und du malst wirklch sonst nicht solche Portrait-Sachen?? Hast du da irgendwelche referenzen gehabt oder das einfach aus dem Kopf gezeichnet? Wenn ja, dann hast du wirklich total im Kopf, wie der gute Sherlock aussieht!
Ich finde die Art, wie du das gezeichnet hast, einfach toll! Ich bin mir zwar gerade nicht sicher, ob das mit Kohle oder mit Bleistift gezeichnet ist (ich hab nur einmal oder so mit Kohle gezeichnet, aber es wirkt ein wenig so..?), aber es sieht hammer aus!
Also ja, ich glaube schon, dass du die Art zu zeichnen auch gut drauf hast, also solltest du schon weitermachen, wenn du möchstest?? (:
Einzige kleine Kritik wäre sein (von ihm aus) linkes Auge. Das ist einfach zu weit oben, glaube ich? Und vielleiiiicht seine Haare. Also nicht die Art, wie du sie gemalt hast, sondern einfach..ähh..dass sie fluffiger liegen? Also sie sehen ein wenig zu "fest" aus, wenn das irgendeinen Sinn ergibt? Ergibt das Sinn??

Ach was, ich glaub echt nicht, dass du da unsicher sein musst, der Stil an sich ist doch echt gut und sieht bei dir auch genauso aus?!
Haha, da siehst du mal, wie sehr ich mich auskenne, das mit dem verwischen hatte ich schon wieder total vergessen..^^ Meistens zeichne ich eh so seltsam, dass bei mir schon der Bleistift total verwischt..^^

...ja! mit dem blistift ist das aber auch schon total problematisch!... ich musste das ganze bild erst so unterteilen, dass ich beim zeichnen nicht mit der hand an einen anderen teil des bildes komme und den dann verwische!... besonders schwer war das dann bei der kleidung!... besonders, da ich mit dem gesicht begonnen hatte....
deswegen bin ich mir auch immer total unsicher bei aquarell bildern und so, ob ich nochmal extra outlines hinzeichnen sollte oder einfach die bleistift outlines lassen soll...

Hm, ja, da sollte ich vielleicht auch mal drüber nachdenken, über dieses „intelligenter Ziechnen“, dann würde ich auch nicht soviel schmieren..^^

Najaa, wahrscheinlich bin ich gar nicht so beschäftigt und rede es mir nur selbst ein.. Morgen muss ich noch mal früh raus und dann schau ich weiter. :3
Ich sollte wohl auch bald wieder aufhören mit offenem Fenster zu schlafen (das mache ich immer..<3), so langsam könnte es zu kalt werden. Aber heute hatte ich auch nur noch leichtes Kopfweh, zum Glück. Zwei tage hintereinander würden mich fertig machen. :/
Aw, danke..<.< ich brauche es dringend. Ich bin mir immer noch nicht sicher und irgendwie sind mir die Leute hier kaum eine Hilfe. also sind sie natürlich schon, aber am Ende bin ich immer noch unfähig eine richtige Entscheidung zu treffen, weißt du?
Ich kann überhaupt nicht gut zeichnen, wenn ich irgendwie aufgewühlt bin oder so..ich kann dann höchstens ein paar Idee haben, aber dann sieht alles so seltsam aus.. ._. Noch seltsamer als eh schon..^^ Und „mit Liebe“ geht nur ab und zu, irgendwann werde ich dann doch genervt, haha..xD
