Description
So here we have the fruit of mine and 's labours. A pair of tales featuring our own respective OC's. Firstly, a comic featuring my OC's, Sara Philips and the CGDA, as they go on a snoop around a creepy Stable searching for some missing racehorses. Secondly an illustrated story featuring his OC's from the Catnap Club, who get involved in the theft of an ancient artefact. This is to be his swansong from the field of DID, so hope you enjoy the final appearance of Reeow and company, in addition to Sara's debut comic. Also, consider this my celebration of achieving 50,000 pageviews. A bit premature, but should hit it in the next day or so.We've decided that there is to be a small charge for anyone wanting to download these stories, but considering how much effort we put into this (particularly from him) we feel it's only fair.
Hope you enjoy these stories as much as I've enjoyed creating them, and I would like to thank Mr Catnap for his excellent work both here and through the years. Make sure you follow him as he starts afresh with his non-DID stuff.

Having bought the full stories, I enjoyed The Stable Snoop Affair! I love the girls, their outfits and the dry humour.
My only, only, advice to you as a hardcore sleepy fan - if you're trying to branch out into this area, one thing that the sleepy fans need to see is a panel of the victim herself unconscious... Β Here, it was a great story line, but I think that many sleep fans may have found it an awful tease, as we had a perfect setup of a lovely girl (Sara) - loved it where she dropped the torch - but instead of the bottom panel being her waking up (which makes the KO almost instantly over) the bottom panel of her sleeping face or her lying helpless in an unconscious heap at the attacker's feet would have been simply delicious.
Mr Catnap is a great choice of artist by the way. Β I'd love to see some full KO work from him, if he is so inclined.

Well it's not so much a case of branching into this area, but more an added bonus and a means of adding some peril. I think the main issue is that with my Sara tales they're told from her perspective, so it's difficult for her to comment on what's happening to her when she's asleep. It's one of the reasons I cut the full KO from this, as we're experiencing all of this through Sara's eyes. I'll bear that in mind in the future though, and I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Mr Catnap is indeed a great artist, and he has done a couple of sleepy pics in the past (such as this one of his two OCs based on a scene in a story I wrote featuring them fav.me/d7zn84pΒ . Make sure you let him know how much you appreciate his art, it would mean a lot to him

Yes, I see what you mean. Β Though there are scenes where she's calling the others and you see them tied up - though she doesn't know this at the time. Β So she kind of pieces it together afterwards. Β So she can imagine herself at the attacker's mercy.

Yeah basically the stories are told from her perspective while bring in the accounts of her friends. My general rule is that you never see something in a Sara story which she isn't aware of, either at the time or by learning about it later on

We'll have to wait and see, though we don't have plans for a follow up soon I'm afraid. He is working on other comics which are really worth checking out. Glad you enjoyed it!

I pretty much enjoyed going through the misadventures of Sara and the farewell DID from mrcatnap. Any chance we'll see more of Sara's stories new or old...or was this a one time thing?

I have more stories planned, and you can find her previous cases in my gallery. This'll be a one time thing with Mr Catnap I think, but Sara's adventures will continue certainly. Glad you enjoyed it.

Fair enough.Β Merely bemoaning that I don't collect points because I generally avoid anything that would ever require me to use them (all very well them being relatively cheap, but lots of cheap things do add up eventually), yet I don't want to miss out on Sara's latest adventure.Β Oh well, looks as though I'm going to have to open my wallet.
