Size - Full view may not be necessary because the closer detail isn't that much to get worked up over and it breaks the art up into parts again. The combined picture is what makes this most awesome. So I like the small view because you can take in the whole picture and enjoy it all at once. On my screen at least, there is still a little bit of scrolling that needs to happen to see the small view, but it is worth the effort.

Lighting - The sunshine and flare really explain why the clouds are so brilliantly white. But the entire picture isn't blown out - you have dark blacks too, and everything in between.

Composition - The horizon so close to the center is a little dull. You could crop off more of the bottom to adjust, but the loss of the detail in the foreground would be even worse. So this couldn't be improved anymore unless you had another, even more detailed picture to add at the bottom. The off center rock in the stream, the vegetation, the random clouds and the sun in the upper corner really add positively to the composition and keep the eye moving.

Overall - Gorgeous! You really illustrated the colorfulness of Colorado. I'd like to see more of this type of photo in your gallery.

I had known that the RMNP was up near Estes Park, but I didn't realize how close it really was. 2 hours away really wasn't that bad! I've been living here for years and just never made the trip.

Landscapes are lovely. I never thought I could create ones that would be inspiring, but I'm going to try to put forth more effort into it.

Thank you for the wonderful comments! I will be posting another landscape picture in about a day, so keep your eyes peeled.
