Description Just a little experiment I concocted by referencing an actual bird species, something that hasn't been too common with me until just a while ago ^v^

I've just been so much into birds recently, they are waaay too fun to draw Here we have a grackle with cool, flashy markings and a knack for sports. He loves to be outdoors and can't sit still for five minutes.

I love working with avian anatomy - I need to go make some more dynamic pictures with them now

Haha, cool colours make cool birds

Maybe this guy has a little too much. So much vibrant colour probably works best as a highlight, and putting it everywhere kind of lowers that contrast

Thanks! When it's just a single character, it's easier to put the more extreme colours into the picture

Colourful ones are very fun, but not-so-fancy ones are still great as well I saw these grackles with their shimmering feathers and had to draw something out ^^
