Here's the finished drawing of Carmen Electra I've been working on the past 2 weeks. I chose to draw this picture because of the strong contrast. It was just a gorgeous picture of her and I hope I've done it justice. I added the black background because I thought it would make her pop off the page a little more. Thanks to everyone that's been following this.12"x18" Fabriano Hotpress Watercolor paper
Derwent pencils (6B, 2H, 2B, H, HB)
tissue, q-tips, and blending stumps for blending
approximate 40 hours

I had been highly anticipating the moment when you submitted the final version of this piece. I think I was the most intrigued by the hands and I'd wanted to see how they worked with the rest of the drawing. I am sure you know that you did a fantastic job with the hair...I think I envy your hair-abilities above all haha, but I also love the light you brought into the eyes here. Beautifully done.

The hands are lovely, beautifully shaded, if a little out of shape in places, and her chin/jawbone looks a little off, but the hair is wonderful! I really love the contrast too. The dark background was a great addition

amazing. about the hands, someone else mentioned they looked a little off...maybe the right one (technically her left i guess) looks a little flat to me near the thumb - the hands seem a little older than necessary, i think...but it's still better than i could do so congrats! the rest of it is absolutely gorgeous.
