i haven't been to your gallery for a *long* time, and i don't have much time now..... so i can only commnt on one of your pics.
i'm really impressed by the scope of this work. the size of the wall behind your subject, and it's state of disrepair really fit well into this piece. combined with the way your subject is standing suggest that whatever is going on to make your figure depressed(?) or alone is too big for him, and has been affecting him for some time. i like the bags at his feet suggest he is unable to escape his memories.

I love the texture and epic proportions. I wish it was just a bit sharper.

the texture of the red wall is rather interesting... looks almost like a macro detail of a small piece of wall with those cracks and flaking being so huge, gives the guy an almost amusing "honey i shrunk the chinese guy" appearance which is heightened by his conveniently low slung hat... the vastness of this shot is humbling... all three of these alone shots are brilliant... love the green link running through them all (esp the pontoon, boat and the bucket), trust you to go to the most populated place on earth and find such serene and solitary shots.. master

WOW!!! love the colours, and the feeling. The wall adds to the lonely feeling due to it's vastness compared to the man.
Oh the forbidden city in Beijing. I know a couple who have just visited there. They enjoyed it.

mm definitely not the best place in china. too huge and too crowded. i quite hated it.
but it was a good place for photos.
