Nicely done. I'm curious if this is straight from the camera or if it required some post processing?

barely any post processing. i fainted the bright lights so that they become less blinding.. just basic contrasts.

Cool. I love looking at it, finding something different each time to study. My skill set is not equal to yours to capture this shot that fast. Maybe some day..(sigh)

The coloring in this shot is realy interesting. It makes all the people become all members of the same tribe so to speak. It is almost like an intrusion on a moment that says ok I am here, you found me. I like it very much.

Interesting choice of angle for this photograph. Not so much because it is an angle that is not commonly used; but, more due to the position of the light source. The picture itself reminds me of the Where's Wally? books, as there is so much action going on. Much like Where's Wally? I also find it difficult to locate your intended subject. I like the colour fades that the lighting causes, yet the image is so busy it's difficult to tell quite what I'm looking at.

i'm not the kind of photographer who will go for centered compositions all the time. i like the viewer not to be "offered" the shot, and personally when i'm looking at a photo i like to spend a few seconds if not minutes trying to figure out what i'm looking at. so that's what i really like in this photo.
The one you like is more obvious, the light and the composition make it easy to read, but what i like precisely in the other on is what's around her, all the details, the hand, the triagular composition, the layers, the other faces, that make it a more complex shot than it seems.

You don't need to go centred for something to be accessible to the viewer. I respect what you are trying to achieve, but feel that improvement could be made.
You need to remember that viewers are generally lazy people. If the work isn't something they can easily "access" so to speak, they will sort of look and go "Oh, nice photo," and move on. It won't stick in their minds, and it won't be revisited.

it's fine with me if i don't attract the lazy viewers.

look at the exif.. it was 3:35 am and she was exhausted.. her eyes are looking at the ground, and i was myself in the middle of a crowd that was walking by.
I'm very quick when i take photos, it becomes a reflex.. so here she didn't have the time to see me, i had already taken the photo.
people usually don't notice when i take photos.

See, this is why I love your shots!!! I like to see what you see and the fact that you are able to recognize these moments, that might look insignificant to some but not to you, they are great moments of everyday life. What makes them really great is that you know how to choose them. Beautiful work!
