I'm still kind of iffy on this, but I'm submitting anyway because *Xphringe thought it was worth coloring. :]

Here we have Blaise, the bassist of Black Heart Machine. This is the first time he's not sharing the scene with another character! Poor guy, I never finished designing him so I only drew him in group pictures...anyway, this is his final design, I'd say (minor tweaking could happen, who knows). New haircut and new piercings, and as always, Blaise insists that his hair is magenta, not hot pink. Denial, et al...

I drew him shirtless to show off his scars (srsly) since this could work as a temporary reference sheet.

About Blaise: At 18 years old and 5'10", Blaise is the "middle" member of the band in both height and age. He's a joker who "rolls with the punches", never really letting life get him down. He's gutsy and says what's on his mind, even if it's not the nicest or even brightest thing to say. He likes to pick on people, especially his friends -- it's how he shows he cares. The scar along his chest is from an incident where he was jumped by a gang when he aided a girl they were harassing -- the wound he received was severe, but Liam was there to heal him (yes, with magic) . The three on his arm are from cigarettes; he was drunk at a party. He has three passions in life: food, music, and girls. He works in his father's restaurant and would like to someday own his own. He is an incorrigible flirt and has a penchant for blondes or really curvaceous women. He's charming, in a quirky sort of way. He's a good cook, and he's a hard worker. One of his downfalls is that he lacks impulse control and has a hard time saying "no" to women...and to Liam, as well. He's miserably in love/hate with his on and off again girlfriend, Candy.

He's also an excellent kisser.
