bahah omg! that's so neat maybe you are psychic :^)Β it is set in the pmd verse, i'm glad i managed to make it fit!! it will probably diverge quite a bit from the main plot once things start getting more exciting but for now yes it's basically the intro from the first mystery dungeon games. blue/red rescue team was very close to my heart and i always wanted to do this properly :^)

yeah! that was on GBA so it seems it's the one you were thinking of :^D it was basically the same as blue rescue team for ds so we basically had the same game. maybe some parts of the comic might jog your memory if i get that far haha

i never got very far in the game because id get stuck in a dungeon crawl and not know what to do.

bahh yeah sometimes they can be super draining if the dungeon is longer than like 20 floors or so... luckily grinding doesn't take long at all if you take a bunch of job requests so you're actually playing for fun in the meantime! i usually hate grinding but the extra job listings made me feel like i was getting somewhere haha. if you ever feel like playing again, i gotta recommend torchic and pikachu as a pretty safe team |^D there's not much in the main plot that can really make life difficult for both of them at once
anyway, i'll try to work on the comic more over the holidays :^) we'll see!

ooh well that's still a good combo :^D i'm sorta glad the game makes you pick different types for hero and partner, it definitely makes sure no one's completely stuck at least...
hmm still, even if you end up not finding your old game, i think the new super mystery dungeon is out pretty much everywhere other than europe right now, so that might be worth a try if you want something more up to date! ANYWAY yeh i will do my best. :^D

ah thank you!! that means a lot :^) i actually redid this page within a month of finishing one version just because i wasn't happy with it and i'm glad i did haha. here's the old one for comparison, in case you're interested!
i really love the wake-up sequence too. it reminds me of the good old days when PMD was all i was surrounded with on dA constantly, i guess? good times, lots of rinse and repeats, loved it just as much every time

Yeah, I remember those days. Man, every Pokemon artist and their grandma was cranking out the PMD comics like nuts. XD
A lot of them never did quite make it past chapter 1 but still! Fun times all around B)

boy i kinda miss it, honestly. like, my art may have been shoddy back then, but the community was in full swing and it was a PMD party every day haha. well, onwards and upwards i guess! we shall BRING the party B^)
