well, anything like this pretty much work with any fictional girl with an " ideal body".

if you draw an " ahri" with a bad face, it won't look sexy and cute, but if you follow some rules to draw a good face, plus an ideal body and I'd say the ears and the tails also make it a lot cuter, it's kinda impossible to fail it.

however, you can easily draw ugly ahris if you fail the face, nothing will save that but it's the same for any "sexy" girl of any game ^^

Where I come from there is a saying which goes like this:
"True beauty can't be disfigured."
I guess as long as an Ahri remains recognizable she will stay cute, because without that she wouldn't be Ahri.

But I still would like to see Sleepy Ahri xD

true beauty isn't in human body, here it's all about taste and this beauty is subjectiv, however some basic things like the symetries help a lot something to be seen as "beautiful" by the humans.

so when you talk about "true beauty", it's a totally different concept than the beauty you're at the moment thinking of.

secondly, of course if ahri is your waifu or whatever it is, it'll greatly help.

If you were right, I would find most of the art of ahri cute, sadly I can't say most are cute, there're some cute ones, surely, but some are really only there for sexyness (I don't say it's a bad thing, understand me right) or well, sometimes directly related to sexual things. I'd say the hardest isn't to make ahri recognizable, which is kinda easy if you use the ears/tails and the clothes, the hardest is to draw a good face, but then, is it stil ahri's face ? I guess we all have preferences about faces, again, it's all subjectiv, I dislike most of the ahri's faces, and some people really dislike how I draw faces.

Just to say that you can't say " because it's ahri, it's cute". It is as long as you convince yourself to be true because you somewhat like or love this character, sadly, most ahris aren't cute at all :c I have a really hard time to find ones I like, but at the end the general feeling of the picture is more important than the content itself ( to me ) which kinda saves me

well, to be easy to understand what I say, saying it's almost impossible to draw a non cute ahri would be the same as "it's impossible to draw a non cute "another gumiho/kitsune" ". Just look at some ahri pictures where she's drawn eating souls or eating livers, trust me, it's everything but cute. (if you find this cute, it means we have two strong different vision of the cuteness)

Ok ... eh.. your answer is a bit long. xD
I am aware that the saying means something different but its content is fitting when you talk about bad-hair-days.
Also, If there is a drawing of "Ahri" and it doesn't reflect her personality or key-traits (cute, sexy, mysterious and dangerous), then to me she wasn't pictured correctly or sufficiently, which means I won't count it as a drawing of Ahri.
To me sexy is cute but not necessarily the other way around.
And about the faces. Yes some people draw faces in a way that I don't find fitting for the character.
And for the whole "it's impossible ..."-thing I have never seen Goomrrat draw a female that wasn't cute, so I thought is it possible for a talented artist with a sense for esthetics to draw Ahri in an unsexy/none-cute way without a drop in artistic quality?

no, it's totally possible, it's even quite easy for talented artists, in fact behind those cute/sexy concepts, there're rules, if you respect them, then it'll automatically be cute, sexy, innocent or whatever.

Now fox ears give instantly a feeling of cuteness, as well as the tails, so yeah, it's really easy to draw a cute kitsune and also really easy to draw a sexy one or both at the same time, and generally we prefer cute/sexy pictures

Well, I'd say if you look at the details, some ahris aren't that cute and sexy at the end, but well,it's about art quality, I feel like I prefer to see not too detailled pictures of ahri, because it can ruin the way you see the character, because we all see the things differently. That's why, to me, there's no ahri, each different painting/drawing is another girl to me ^^

but I'm sad, yet I haven't found that much "ahri" pictures I liked :c there's so much fanart, but Ican't find something that really fits me :c

I have favorited 1283 pictures of Ahri on DA (for now) but I can't pick a most favorite one.
Clearly some are better than others but eventually it comes down to a top 100 that I can't really rank anymore.
To me Knockwurst, the artist of Ahri's first splash art, combines all aspects I like about Ahri the best, but skill-wise I'd say Zeronis, Goomrrat, Ricegnat and Sakimichan manage to top him.
(I can go on about this for hours and you probably can as well xD)

hmm, I'd say to me, the best art of her is the chinese artwork of the dynasty ahri ^^ it's the one I like the most, but yeah, I liked for a long time the old splash art, but then,... I have favorited some, but I don't even like most of them, it's just to find some inspiration ^^, so yeah, at the end, all the fanarts are good but,.. it doesn't have this feeling I found in the old splash art and in the chinese artwork of the dynasty ahri :c even my drawings, I don't like them that much, I just drew cause it's fun to draw, but... I feel like what I do is crappy ^^
