Its very interesting, Im not quite sure i grasp your meaning behind the photo fully but its still amazing.

 My take on the meaning behind this image is that it represents a optimistic outlook, to have hope, to believe, to "see the light", the hand represents the strength of a person who is struggling, and the light represents the belief and hope. Everyone has different interpretations of photographs, and of any art, but this is what I think the image has captured. 


What would you say it symbolizes?

Well everyone perceives an image differently, and nobody is wrong about what they think of an image as long as the have justification as to why they believe in how they see the image. So the fact that you have an opinion of what you think it means is showing me that you have an understanding of art!
