Today is the 20th anniversary of one of the saddest days in world history, the terrorist attacks on the United States of America. I was 9 years old when the Twin Towers were destroyed, the Pentagon was hit, and the passengers of Flight 93 fought back against the terrorist.

I took this photo of a piece of the World Trade Center at the Brighton Fire Department to remember the lives lost 20 years ago.
