Did you do all the colouring with the tablet? It looks so much softer than your normal colouring. Definately a good thing to have, looks like you're enjoying it. That hair is so Toyah.

Only the hair and facial features were done with the tablet,the rest was done with the free style tool as usual.

Yes,it's great! I managed to draw the entire face free hand with the pen,i think it's going to make faces much easier.

I have discovered that i draw terrible wobbly lines, i need loads more practice.

Awwwww....

I love GIMP, and i use to use Picnic a lot as well, but then Google got their grubby hands on it and the replacement is terrible.

GIMP is a rather good program...and for free too! I was impressed when I found it.

I'm using Photoshop 7 for my comic, I've had it since I was 15...but I am rather fond of GIMP too for some of my stand-alone paintings. GIMP just feels so much more paint-y than Photoshop.

I've heard people say that photoshop is easier to use and that GIMP is fiddly, i think GIMP is a bit fiddly but once you get used to it it's not that bad. I'm so used to it now i hardly think about it.

A lot of fairly similar ones, but I find them quite different programs to paint in, for how they handle.
