I liked this one when I was just learning how to paint.  My reference was this tiny picture off the back of one of the trading cards.  I used a magnifying glass and went blind.  I would love to redo it now as my skills are somewhat better.

I am pleased you liked it though and that is what is important.

Oh my, I can definitely say that you are a true professional. To use a magnifying glass! Ha, I always draw/paint having the reference picture of the same size, either small or giant. If I ever try to draw in the wrong scale, say like using a tiny picture like in your case, I would screw all the face proportions That's why I admire people like you

Generally I blow up way too much so I am learning to rough it out first to get it to work out.
