I really love his outfit and the colors in the flowers in the background. The colors just pop and catch the eye right away.

I was just glad to find those flowers. They were the perfect colors to compliment Aidan's "look" without being too girly. His outfit design was tricky to think up; I was trying to mix Russian czar attire from the early 1900s with (wealthy) Victorian boy's clothing

I agree. The flowers compliment him well without looking too feminine. Actually, I noticed that about his attire: it reminded a lot of Russian czar attire. I've done quite a bit of reading about Czar Nikolai II and his family because of my Russian heritage. Russian history really fascinates me. 
Anyway, I think you succeeded with combining those two styles of clothing.

It's funny you mention Nikolai II, because I used pictures of him in particular as reference material for designing Aidan's outfits. That's cool that you read about the Czars because of your heritage. Their history certainly is fascinating
