Description
This is my entry at a contest at KIMMIDOLLS INTERNATIONAL. Nana on the keychain and Norika on the notepad. These are the only ones I own and the prize of the contest are some collectable Kimmi's. Now, onto technical stuff. I took this shot on my makeshift light box with a warm light and a cold light. I liked the tilted angle and tried to make it look soft by adding a bit of a pink hue. I'm only unhappy that, while trying to take out the noise, I lost a bit of sharpness, my camera still hates contrasting lights. I didn't want to overly Photoshop it, but I couldn't help myself lol

This looks like a great shot as it is. Sometimes when we take out the sharpness, it adds a degree of softness as a whole. I would be satisfied with the result even with the tools you have.
I wouldn't be so hard on your tools or your ability.

It's what is happening, a shot not that special is ahead of everyone by many votes. Oh well, there is nothing you can really do about it, the only one really winning with all this is the company who has the contest, with all this free publicity. Very smart of their part.
