Description So yeah. A while back, ~Mustakrekish dared me to draw something unbelievably... campy, to say the least. This is the result.

With this drawing I'm introducing two new characters. Both guys on the far ends of the drawing. In the middle there's a random dude and of course Harold Hรคas.

The two new guys are Finn Damrosch (far left) and Zotikos Charisteas (far right), who are of Jewish and Greek heritage respectively. The two are life partners who happen to share the power of hypnosis/mind control. The two will be added to the Glenmetropolis lineup seperately sometime soon.

As for the scene, well, ~Mustakrekish wasn't very specific, but she wanted a black man being trapped by three older men, two of which I had to make up. It was a fun challenge, I must admit. But it's a little over-the-top campy for my taste.

Nevertheless, I'd love to know what you think of this scene.

Oh those men, always harassing the younger folks.

(yesterday, I saw a family friend with a 'stache like these men. I never want to see a real one again! )

I know, they're almost unstoppable when it comes to that

(Pauvre toi. Je compatie).

Oooh noes! he's all trapped with no place to go! >.>

I have to say i'm lovin' how this came out. I really love the poses and the expressions on every single person in this little scene. They all look so... laid back about the situation. Muahaha!

Nicely done!

Indeed he is! And who knows what'll happen to him at the hand of those older men? One might wonder...

This is one of the drawings where the poses flowed really naturally. I didn't have a hard time making things fit, they just did.

By the way, I was wondering, should I do more drawings like these? Like, if you were to see a similar drawing, what would you like to see in it?

it does make ya wonder, that's for sure...

I have to be honest, I'm not really one for those types of pictures. It's.. just not my thing.. or something that pulls my attention out to immediately click on, ya know? What I'm more interested is the improvement factor from one picture to the next. Like... maybe the coloring is more enhanced, linework is more refined, creativity is up-played, the overall concept is thought of better. Just stuff in general for that.

i don't really look at content matter anymore with people's pictures so much as overall concept and improvement. If there's anything that I'd like to see, it would be that. I like that in everyone's stuff and it's just something I enjoy seeing

Well, it must mean I'm getting better if you did click on my drawing in that case

To be honest myself, these men-on-men drawings aren't my cup of tea either. But I've been receiving requests for such drawings for a while now, and it seems like the only way to get views these days is by answering to people's demands/requests. That'd mean more men-on-men and tickling pictures from me. Unfortunately, that's not what I want to draw. I did this request because it came from a close friend of mine. But I'd rather draw superhero stuff or stuff about my sci-fi story.

Oooh yes! I've been watching and you really have been! When is ee details of things, i really take notice to that stuff

hehe! I don't mind the m/m stuff at all.

Pfft... You know... if you're worried about views and stuff... Just... stop. Because right there.. you're not really drawing for YOUR enjoyment. You know? Drawing for yourself helps things along. This is a place to showcase the stuff you like creating the most, right?

Draw what YOU want to draw. People will come... If they don't.. then.. they don't. But don't put out stuff you don't want to do for higher numbers. because that will make you stress out. It's all about the fun of the matter and you don't want to lose that.

Thanks!

I don't mind m/m either, it's just not particularly high on my list of things I really enjoy drawing.

The thing is, I try to draw for myself as much as I can, but part of the motivation is knowning people will give you feedback on your drawings. When that doesn't happen, you feel like you have to draw what other people want to see. It's a conundrum I can't seem to find my way out of at times.

Thanks for the unrelenting support since you've been watching me

Ahhh yeah you have a point there, that's for sure.

I know I would get like that too... Like I know a lot of people would watch me for all my superheroy stuff but then I just wasn't inspired by drawing them anymore so those people never like comment or do anything anymore. Others do for the fact they're just generally good friends on this site. But others? Nope. Though it doesn't really bug me. I'd rather draw what I want then look for comments.

Every person on DA is always lookin' for something different though. And that I respect.

But you are welcome, sir! Always glad to be full of support. xD
