I had a fish...I would assume it died...it isn't in the tank anymore and I don't own any creatures (that I know of) who eat fish...I also had a snail who decided to eat the paint off of the aquarium rocks...Then it lost its mind...it would sit on the bottom of the tank, upside down flapping in the current from the filter...It also would climb on the fish and try to ride them...then it died...lead poisoning I think...the rock was made in China

I hadn't fed it for at least 4 months...it was eating the algae or w/e...but after the first month I was just curious how long it'd live

it was eating...If I fed it then it would stop cleaning the tank for me...which needed to be done after the snail died...it ate the snail too

Former goldfish owners of DA, unite!
I had a goldfish earlier this year. I bought him during lunchbreak, kept him in my locker during the rest of school, brought him home on the bus, and then the next day he was dead.

but in this instance, we had just as little luck. We tried 2 goldfish, one died, bought another one, the still-alive one died, then the other one died, replaced him...still died. Now the tank is all empty and sad in the attic. D:

My high school was located between a mall, a park, and a restaurant complex. I got out whenever I could.
Fill the tank with water lilies, maybe? Those are pretty too.
Or shells. I had some bottles filled with all these different colored shells I had collected - ended up giving them away to friends because I couldn't take them with me to Portland. But they brightened up the depressing theology section of my bookshelf for a long whiles. shells + water + glass = shiny
