Zhuge Liang and Sima Yi. The best stradigests of the 3 Kingdoms. The two of them actually lead better than liu Shan and Cao Cao's grandson. You never know what they'll do next. Then there was Jiang Wei and Sima Zhao. The obvious winner was Sima Zhao, because he actually did his own ambitions and not his father or brothers ambitions.

The 8th one is out already? How come I wasn't informed? Then again I live in the U.S.
Well I know that Cao Cao hates Liu Bei, Yuan Shao, Dong Zhou, Ma Teng, etc.
Liu Bei hated Wu for the death of Guan Yu, which lead to the downfall of Shu.
I'm a man of Shu. but if I ruled it, I would do it my way. Not the dead.
Oh and there was a lot of rivalrys in DW7. There was Wang Yi and Ma Chap, Sima Shi and Zhuge Kan. Sima Zhao, Zhuge Dan, Jiang Wei, Cao Mao, and that Sun guy during Zhuge Dan's rebellion.
Then there's Lu Bu against everyone. We all know what happened in all the DW series. Great stuff with killing everyone in DW6.

DW8 was released in Japan already. You can see some gameplay and cutscenes videos on YouTube. Beware spoilers XD Not sure when DW8 would be released oversea
Oh yep, DW7 showed many rivalries but I wanted to see more rivalry between Zhuge Liang and Sima Yi, not Jiang Wei and Sima Yi. When Jiang Wei said 'benevolence' many times, I was like "OMFG STOP THAT! It's so annoying! >.<"

That's what happens when people love their leader more than his ideals. I mean sure the Han dynasty was great, but the Liu could of happened. If it wasn't for the fact that Liu Bei sent his forces against Wu. I would be pissed too, but Wei was the real enemy back then. And Wu had the chance to unite the land, after establishing their power, but didn't have the balls to do it. Thought they could co-exist with the other two Kingdoms. Yeah, have Shu and Wei kill each other while not trying to unite China again. That's a really good idea. -_-
I really love Shu, but hated it after Jiang Wei kept attacking Wei too often. It would make more sense to defend Shu, establish more training, re-establish the government, and trained Liu Shan to be more of a leader. Did like Liu Shan for doing the right thing, then doing the stupid thin, and surrendered to Sima Zhao.

They wanted peace but their methods of uniting the land were different. Cao Cao ruled his kingdom with his own strict discipline and visions whereas Liu Bei wanted to do what was good for his people.
I started to dislike Jiang Wei since DW7. I love Jin in DW series but I am not interested much in storyline because mostly it is focus on Sima Shi and Sima Zhao. DW8 is kinda disappointing for me, Sima Yi retired with Chunhua just like that after a few battles and left their sons do the work

I really thought Jiang Wei was way into the past so much, that it makes Dong Zhuo look sane. I mean sure his speech was good when the second part of the battle of Wu Zhang plains, but since then he's been annoying. No wonder Shu sucked after Zhuge Liang died.
