Or else he'll make lots of noise. Black Billed Magpie--he's a real aggressive panhandler. There is likely a Scrub Jay nearby.This guy just chattered away very loudly until I got up and left. Notice the pupils of his eyes are glaring directly at me.

It wasn't so much the look that got to me, but the noise. He sounded as though he was actually trying to talk.
I bring a bag of crushed walnuts with me now, so I can pay the birds for letting me take their picture.
