Done with colored pencils.
My camera ran out of batteries, you don't know how much trouble I went to to get this picture.

Alright, since you said that, I'm going to have to tell you the story. So, I wanted to do this but my camera was out of batteries and I couldn't get it to charge through the USB cord and I was at my grandma's house, so I looked around everywhere and found this older Nikon that she never uses (she had taken her usual camera on a trip). So I took the picture and it came out pretty good, right? Then there was the problem of how to put it on the computer. I snooped around in some piles of junk to see if the cord was anywhere around where I found the camera. Eventually I looked at the hole and found that my camera's USB cord worked! HA! And then... and here was the frustrating part since I'd come so far... I plugged the camera in and the Removable Drive came up, but ALL THE FOLDERS WERE EMPTY. I just kept going back through the two or so folders hoping to find the pictures but just kept coming back to a dead end 'this folder is empty.' And it was so frustrating, because I could see the pictures on the camera still, but I couldn't find them! So I took the actual memory card out and tried putting that straight into the laptop but it was the same thing, all empty folders. Switched back to the USB cord and copied the folders to the laptop hard drive. Still empty. BUT THEN I typed in the "Search My Documents" box for DC, which is the first part of the default name of the pictures AND THEY COME UP IN THE SEARCH. But the folders are empty! WTH!? I just took them and copied them into My Documents, they're fine. Is there a hidden file or something!? It was so weird! I was satisfied just to get the picture, though, I didn't look into it anymore.
Alright, I'm very sorry for the rant. It would have probably come out one way for another - you were the unlucky victim.

ahahaha woah xD That is so weird and irritating too! I probably would've either laughed or cried after all that... most likely both! lol
Probably was some kind of fluke with the camera. Try hitting it a couple of times and see if it helps xP I'm super glad you got it to work though, the pics are awesome!
Sounds like the kind of long retarded situation I had with my tablet... trying to figure out what the hell was wrong with it and my all the folders were removed from the computer. Then I was like... oh yeah, the computer guy said he deleted a bunch of old junk files. Figures, my tablet was having trouble ever since I got the laptop back haha. Found out it wasn't working AFTER I had already moved into my new place, then had to call my mom to have her search my room for the old software O_O Totally frustrating haha!

ah, well... I guess digital art is almost easier than traditional because you can fix and move things to easily. I feel like I should challenge myself with traditional more.

Hmm yeah same here x) I think the digital practice has gotten me better at traditional though, with all the experimenting I do. Still, I can only do pencil and I'm pretty crap at coloring haha.

Hey, thanks so much for your comment! Um, well he doesn't actually have a name. Yokai is the species(?) name because it's a bit of a general term for Japanese monsters (sorta) and I didn't know what else to call him.
