Wow, you've got the Tallarn army? How cool. These are really well done IMO the paint scheme is great!
There's really that problem with camouflage painting - if you paint it realistically the minis sucks, cause the camo is meant to look ugly and distractive and featureless, and if you paint it, well, too "table-top", then it doesn't reflect the camo idea anymore. And i'm talking here about real world designs like the DCU used here (6 color on the capes, i see?).
I believe you found the golden mean here, good job!
p.s. the diorama is perfect. Is the tractor a GW mini? One thing i'd add is maybe some net on the poles behind&over the armor, it' would maximize the feeling of temporary encampment.
