In my Walter Fox stories, Sammy Skunk had become an outcast from his fellow animal-people, though Walter Fox and his assistants are occasionally required to make goodwill visits to Sammy Skunk and his human companion (the reason for his being outcast). Β Billy Otter, one such assistant, turns out to be more friendly to Sammy Skunk that the others, as is indicated here.
