Thanks Peggi - will get round to noting you those parms for the other one.
Yes Scot didn't get my mentions and I think it may be a result of using Adblock on Chrome which interferes with DA but I am not sure how!
It was a bit confusing as it was a bank holiday here and I noted :iconblipbI0p: because I realised it would run over the 3 day deadline as I had plans for the weekend!
I have not received a couple - one from Jim and one from Seb who I pong with.  I will be noting Marnie each time I have posted now  just in case!

Incidentally I have just found an add on for Chrome which keeps track of notes on DA.  The thing to do would be to find a common denominator.  I might write to Seb and see which browser he uses.   Ziska seems to have had it though she watches me anyway.  I find my three pongs tend to come all at once and usually when I have a feature to write
so I try to predict how to best deal with that.

I use Firefox and I got a mention for this one, but in the past there have been some that I didn't get and when I would check the UF Chain Pong Gallery in Pongorama, I can see one or more have been posted and they have the icons of the chain members in the description as they should, but I didn't get a Mention in my Messages.  It may have to do with the different browsers.  Some use Firefox, some Chrome and some Safari (Mac) and some, heaven forbid, use Internet Explorer.  I could see where it might be tough to ensure complete compatibility across all of those.

Waiting anxiously for your params.  And I'm curious as to your comment about "keyboard shortcuts".  Can you elaborate a little on that in your note?  I'm very interested in hearing what you meant.

I know what I've done - I worked that one on top of your submission and then when I decided to make another one 
I reinstalled your parms over the top by mistake as I only re named the image duh!
I remember the colour variations came from merge modes and I used a vignette which I then made the frame and highlight with.
It's a fairly simple process and I'll try and mock up something similar to show you.
As for the shortcuts.  I remember zooming your image out with shift and then I do a lot of resizing and stretching of shapes 
using shift/ctrl or ctrl/alt.  I'll get back to you when I have something similar!

Just read this, excuse my interference, but the mention on DA sometimes works and sometimes doesn't... You can't rely on it, I found :{ I got a helpdesk ticket for when I didn't receive any mentions for a week, and they told that they were dealing with far more important issues... (yes, honestly :} ) So since then I am checking, and it seems most of the times it works and sometimes it doesn't under the same circumstances (using the :icon username: in a comment under a submission). Someone tweaked a whole series from one of my renders some time last year and credited me religiously... and I never knew, found out half a year later by accident so I could finally thank him! If there were something external that would keep track of them (for Firefox preferentially), I'd be so happy!

No probs Sabine - glad you did as its causing a lot of notes within the chain!
I have also written to the help desk today as it seems to be a recurring problem with my tags particularly.
Chrome add ons are sometimes available in Firefox but wether this one is I don't know.

Thank you for the link! Checked it and it's Chrome only, as suspected. Also: It seems to be only a different presentation of stuff provided by DA, so if DA does not provide well working mentions, they won't show in here either, I should think :S I cannot imagine this add-on to comb through thousands and thousands of messages on DA to see if you are mentioned anywhere...

Kkay - I am testing a theory.
I will upload a graphic - a tweak of yours - I have changed a certain setting.
I want to know wether it makes any difference.
I will tag you in the description but not post it under any fractals with a comment.
I am not going to tell you when but I want you to write a comment underneath as soon as (if)  you get it.
I will not post it in any groups and I do not want you to look for it.
What I want to know is when and if it turns up in your feedback messages.

BTW - I took your advise today and re installed MB3D (for the third time) in a folder I made specially in pictures.
And guess what - I can load all of the parms I couldn't use before!
Must be windows messing with the settings!!
