Augh I love it! That wing is so pretty and different... Almost looks like a fox tail in its colouring. Love the painterly effect you've got going on with the colouring, too! Fantastic!

I can never draw anything in a day, I take forever for the simplest drawings. I really need to practice on getting a little faster, I think my posting rate on this new account has been about one drawing a month ><

Well, there comes the big issue about quality vs. quantity. I have to say that my progress in art is really slow if I don't draw as much because I tend to only get better with a lot of practice because I don't have the commitment to spend a lot of time and effort on a single picture lol.
Everything comes with practice, anyway. Unless it's hindering your improvement I wouldn't let your natural way of doing things bother you.

I agree that spending time on a picture is good but what I'm not happy with is that I haven't been able to draw much lately. That's the main reason I'm so slow -- there are some pictures I only touch every few weeks! I want to draw more but school and family get in the way. I have vacation this week and I'm already noticing more inspiration coming, so that's a good sign. (I was working on a big essay and 2 or 3 times I had to stop to either jot an idea down for a story or picture, lol.) So hopefully I can get things done this week...
