I like the selective colouring here,very effective!
Reflects how any person's world feels desaturated without that special somebody in it,which i can relate to!
I like how there are no distractions,how everything to that person is contained within that picture frame,as opposed to the world around them

Thanks so much!!! It's me and my mom in the picture. I gave it to her for mother's day and she cried. 
It's funny you mentioned the lack of distractions. This is actually the reshot of the photo. The first one was basically the same, but I was zoomed out more and you could see the table next to my bed and a chair and... just general apartment stuff. After I reshot without anything else in the frame I was SO much happier with it.

I could imagine, it's beautiful.. the gray scale with the color photo.. so many points of focus that just blend together.. it's wonderful.
