For the record, I don't ship these two. I don't ship any of the mane 6 with each other. They're wonderful "friends" and that's what it will always come down to.Applejack and Rainbow Dash are an interesting pair of friends to me. They share a sort of competitive rivalry with each other. They lead extremely different lives and have different priorities to fulfill, but are always the best of friends by the end of the day. "Fall Weather Friends" is one of my favorite episodes.
I think these friendly rivalries between each other only strengthens their friendship. Applejack reminds Rainbow the importance of hard work, persistance, and to get passed her lazy tendencies. Rainbow teaches Applejack to loosen up and enjoy life's "awesome" moments more often!
I liked the idea of Rainbow always sneaking Applejack's hat off and wearing it herself or starting a (rather unfair) game of keep-away with it! And then that sort of grew into another idea of Applejack possibly taking the chance to slip on Rainbow's racing goggles!
Silly friends being silly!

Yes! awesome work! im sick of everyone making these characters into couples, it takes away the point that this show is about the importance and magic of friendship. Rainbow Dash and Applejack's friendship is also my fav! Thanks!!

I agree with Greystrip64, that all the main six are really close PFF(Pony Friends Forever). Matching the main six together is really weird for me, especially when I see pictures of it. (But again it's my opinion, other may disagree and i'll respect that.)

I'm shock when they brought rainbow colored flag in Russia when they said that they couldn't do it. I felt bad for the Russians' since they told them not to. I was even more shocked when I found out that they broke a 'law' in Russia. And I agree with you on you opinion, I'd say the same thing.
(For truth I thought that I was the only one who agreed that the main six should just being close friends nothing more.)Β

Yes exactly. It is not everyday you meet someone who agrees on a lot of the same things you do. Friends is all. It just creeps me the heck out when they put the princesses together either with themselves or any of the mane six.....bleh

I'd say that Luna is my favorite princess since she brings the night, and I love seeing the stars at night while laying on the grass/porch with fireflies flying, lighting the place up.
My favorite main six is Rainbow dash since she relates more to me, I love sports and competition. People say that I'm talented at those (Thou I think some people are better then me.) but I know that I could do so much more but i'm so lazy at timesΒ . I could be at the top of the class but it's my laziness that's holding me back. XDΒ

No way! I absolutely LOVE Luna and RD! They are the BEST! My favorite wonderbolt is Soarin of course. Haha. And the shadowbolt is Nightshade. I totally agree with Soarin being my favorite wonder bolt out of the three because of a comic I'm reading. You know a fan base is ridiculous about shipping when an author of artwork as to make it very clear in the description that the two characters he drew aren't a couple.

I agree. This is a very cute drawing about best friends being best friends, pure and simple. To take it further than intended and say these friends are a couple, regardless of gender, says more about the motives of the person making the claim than the artist.
