Description
This is the front profile of the little Boeing F4B-4 U.S. Navy fighter from the 1930s. I built a 1/72 scale Monogram model of this plane when I was younger and really liked this little fighter. It is tiny by today's standard at only 20 feet (6m) long. It was a fun little bi-plane to do. I marked this plane the same as the model I built. It is VF-2 #7 (2-F-7) leader (full colored cowl) of section 3 (Blue fuselage band and cowl) from the carrier U.S.S. Lexington (Yellow tail and fin). I Photo manipulated the Engine and propeller as well as the navigation lights. I used part of pictures of LEDs that I took for the lights. This is done the same scale as my P-51s.
