Woke up with the above line in my head about a week ago and just had to paint something based on it.
Tried as hard as I could to get the scan to look right. Still not quite there.
Worked very very hard on this one.
I really enjoyed how the tea came out. Just how I'd hoped.

I like how dark it gets closer to the centre.. adds a lot of impact to the rest of the light-watercoloury image. Concept came out beautifully~

I love how the dark colors in the middle make the other colors seem much more vibrant. Great composition - the way the wings and the color splats are positioned gives it the look of a minor explosion ^-^ The strong ink lines ensure that the details remain sharp. The tears and the butterfly and the skeletal frame all work together and really fit the idea/title. Nice work!
