~Nekotsume suggested that perhaps I like the idea of Isshin, Yoruichi and Urahara being old friends for the same reason I like the Legendary Sannin from Naruto.... I think she may be on to something.

mmm i will prefer it other way i mean Yoruichi the animal like(orochimaru), kisuke the pevert(jiraiya) and isshin the doctor(tsunade)

i feel like kisuke doesn't really pull off the tsunade look. two things are noticeably absent. ^0^
isshin as jiraiya totally rocks though. they fit each other pretty well...if only we knew more about what the doc's sword does...

AHHHHHHH... my two fav characters out of Bleach mixed with my three fav characters out of Naruto! LOVE IT! FAVED! Yoruichi as Orochimaru perfect!

I think she comes closest to matching his obliviousness to social mores and gleeful sex offender vibe. It's still a stretch, obviously, but that's kind of beside the point. :D

Randomly: when I first saw Ichimaru Gin, I dubbed him "the Guy Who Smiles Like Two Orochimarus". o_o

... and Tsunade and Urahara both have snazzy hats! (Though, really, I was trying to match personalities as closely as possible. The physical resemblences are just a happy bonus.)
I was originally going to explain this is in comment form, but drawing it just seemed so much easier.
