My favorite Character in all the anime, manga, and brotherhood, the 2003 incarnation of Greed. I used to love Greed all around (hence my name being Greedlin) but that was before the final chapters of the mange came out, and Greedlin became a whinny baby about how all he ever wanted was friends. The Greed I know and love would never have done that. 2003 Greed gave Edward the knowledge to kill the other Homuclus because they turned on him. Manga/Brotherhood Greed would have told him because 'Oh, will you be my friend?', plus 2003 Greed kicked Izmui's Ass (Well made her run away) while the brotherhood one (not manga) lost to her, and he had to run away.Hidden Comments = Childish Arguments started by people who don't respect peoples opinions, and try to change them to match there own.

My theory is that the time he spent in Ling's body softened him up. Homunculus don't have souls, but Ling did. They did foreshadow this a little when he expressed disgust after killing one of his Chimera.
I still don't see how giving him more depth makes him a crybaby.

At first I thought "but you're GreedLing..." but after I read the description, I realized that yes, the end of Brotherhood Greed was corny. But I love GreedLing. He is my second favorite Homunculus. (Envy's my first)
I wish that Greed and Ling came to an agreement and Greed stayed inside Ling and helped rule Xing. (hey that rhymed!)

I liked the original Greed. In other words, the version that was around during the 2003 series, and the one who died near the beginning of Brotherhood. I do think Greed thought of the Chimeras as his "friends", but he definitely didn't want nothing but friends.

Greed wasn't whiny even when he acknowledged that side of him. He more or less stayed the same.
