Look, I would give context for the first one but I feel like it's funnier if I don't.

Anyway yes I did say this robotic iteration isn't his canon form but... god do I like it a lot... dammit.

This did have the effect of making me think more about his personality. He's supposed to be a creepy murderous clown (robot in this case), buuut in this day and age ppl aren't exactly scared... as shown here lmao.
At first he was annoyed by this, mostly because he doesn't care about that sorta stuff (AroAce) and he got enjoyment from seeing ppl panic and cower in fear; but later he adapted to using his victim/target's attraction to him to lull them in a false sense of security before turning the tables on them when they are at their most vulnerable... hey don't look at me like that, he IS a murderer after all.
