OK, I know I basically have to hand in my man card after saying this, but fuckit: *YES*. Faridah and Adam all the damn way!
OK, so Megan was nice 'n' all... but she also nicked your DNA and quite possibly only started humping you in the first place so she could get it. Not to mention that she seemed pretty bloody comfortable in Singapore with Namir and Co. "Jaron? Is that you?" No, dear, it's what's left of your ex, plus enough metalwork to construct a small house. Y'know, the one who nearly got killed trying to save you from 'Jaron'.
Faridah, by contrast, has been lifting you out of the shit and generally helping you out all the way - and when she's in distress, her response? "Leave me, I'll be fine", as half of Belltower's security try to turn her into a colander. And when she next comes to haul you out of the fire, not only does she drop a great big bomb thing, but it's quite likely she's been waiting around, ever since you saved her, in China. Just in case you needed her. Gee, which woman would I prefer?
*Smacks Jensen upside the head, gets brutally killed*
Also, on a more sane note, that's probably the closest, most impressively detailed depiction of both of them in a piece of fanart I've ever seen. And I've seen... quite a bit. Because I am a bit of a fanboy. Maybe. <.< Anyway, fav'd!

About Megan. When she oh so sweetly called Namir's name... I got angry. Man slaughtered your team and your ex-boyfriend, how could you possibly put aside something like that and be so nice to him?! Then she recognized Adam and in a second(!) turned into an innocent damsel in distress. That's some good acting, lady, worth an Oscar or something.
And why didn't she tell him about his unique DNA? Jensen is a reasonable man, he would have understood and helped willingly. But no, he was just a test subject, no need to treat him as a human being. That was so sad and unfair
Faridah seemed to be the only bright spot in Jensen's life at this point and he came to care for her a great deal. If you don't make an attempt to save her during Belltower's ambush she gets executed and I think it is the only time in the game when you can hear Adam scream. I've got to hand it to the voice actor, he made this part unforgettable. And after all of that you can't just ignore Faridah/Adam relationship anymore and its potential.
Aaaaand I think I need to shut up +)

Yeah, I got all kinda of vaguely annoyed about that. I think Megan's a great character, mind you - I may not like her as a person, but she's written and acted really well, she's never exactly obvious in what she's doing, and she defies easy classification. On the one hand, she comes across as callous, single-minded and uncaring - yet in her diary, you can see that she really does care about Adam. OK, so her abduction was real enough, and clearly she objected to it - but she was also not averse to ignoring the circumstances of her being in Singapore, if it meant she got to do exciting work. And as you said, when they meet again, her reaction is telling. Not so much happy as shocked. I mean fair enough, I'd be shocked too, but I might also be quite pleased. I hope she appears in any further sequels and things.
And yes, I heard the magnificent Toufexis Scream. Only once, though. because even if I were minded to run away and leave Faridah there (and I wasn't), I don't think Adam's the sort of guy who'd leave her to face almost certain death alone, regardless of feelings towards her. It's also the point at which every Pacifist Run I've made has been unceremoniously abandoned in favour of KILLING THE GODDAMN LOT OF 'EM WITH FIRE AND GRENADES. So many grenades. Usually followed by the swift and brutal killing of every single Belltower soldier in Hengsha XD And that little exchange between Faridah and Adam - "Now get on with the damned mission! And... thanks, Spyboy."Any time, Flygirl" - is just perfect. PERFECT! Gyaaaah!
Yeah, fanboy syndrome. Oh dear. Needless to say, Faridah had better emerge in any future games too, or there shall be much disappointment here.
Also, the game needed far more Picus headlines. "'So you think you can dodge traffic' dropped..."
