EDIT* Apparently these crazies were dubbed "Finalist", which means they were in for consideration to be displayed further and auctioned off. So close...Rodeo art... Some things I've learned for next year; better atmosphere, no damn fence, and a white horse. I draw white horses with so much more ease.
Anyway, the stars of this piece are Emmy, the loudmouth paint on the left, and her 'adopted daughter' Jakarta on the right. Mom of the year...
I was feeding them grass while taking pictures, as I usually do. Emmy doesn't like sharing.
I have no idea how long I spent on this, but it was a long time...Photo realism can really run away with you.
That fucking fence...
Art is mine, Emmy and Jakarta are owned by a very lucky person. (who also owns Checkers)
