Thanks. I did use a photo reference, so I don't have the same sense of pride in the result as I would have if I drew just from my imagination. However, from reworking the sketch and inking it I learned something about differences between photo and cartoon perspectives.

I really love those dirty socks look, the dirt showing the place where the toes, balls and heels put pressure. It's quite sexy, I must say.

Thanks. It took four colors to do it. Since she's outside it seemed unnatural for the socks to be perfectly clean, but I didn't want them to look muddy and trashed either.
