This is one of the best pieces I have seen in a long time. I love the composition, color, and line. I am absolutely enthralled. the texture is almost sensual, and i love mixture of balance and confusion.
It would have been interesting to use text, or even more texture. i am interested in what size you would wish to have it shown at?

thank you for the wonderful critique. I did want to try and incorporate some text, but I couldn't find anything that seemed to fit or work. Actually there is a lot more texture in the 'digital underpainting' below the suface, I think only revealing some of it has more impact and lends to that sensual feel you talked about. Mixing balance and confusion seems to be what my life is about right now.
I think it would look great around poster size printed on canvas.

I really like this. I dig the vertical line that is off centered...it gives the sense of a delineation of the finite to the infinite. Great stuff!
