I, too, prefer the B&W version. I especially like it because of a long-ago photography teacher who was absolutely adamant that portraits can NOT be made with wide-angle lenses. This one is simply stunning.

Thank you very much for the compliment! I really appreciate your feedback! Generally I agree about the portraits and wide angle lenses. In this case though, I thought the wide angle with the clouds and the rocks complimented the flow of her dress. Since she is positioned in the middle top to bottom, there is not distortion on her body. Of course having the horizon in the middle also breaks the rule of thirds when framing the photograph......Oh well

I would say the black and white is better. It gives off a better contrast with her and her background, especially the veil.
