The lightning doesn't look half bad if I do say so myself! I also love how you did the colors so much. I'm glad that Raven ended up really liking it, too! It's clear that you spent a lot of effort working on this.

Everything looks great except for the lightening... I have pretty easy way to make lightning if you want to hear it.

(Everything in this is really well done, I realize that my earlier comment could be veiwed negatively)
Lightning follows the path of least resistance through the air, coming up through the ground (though it's to fast for us to see). this means that there are no straight lines at all (which are in your lightning). Also, lightening often but not always follows a fractle pattern, meaning that it has repeating shapes that look the same as you zoom in. If you use your main body shape of the lightning to make the other branches it will look more natural. (it doesn't have to be cut and paste, but it's normally easiest)

my favorite part is the fur... it looks soft and has shape, especially around the head/neck area, without being overly detailed and staying with a more cartoon look c: when it comes to the anatomy, the front legs are a bit long and the body is a bit too short compared to the head. for grass... grass is a pain x'D it took me a long time to get used to it but its best to have all the grass moving in a consistent way, depending on the wind. it would also be consistent with the direction the character's fur is flowing. lightning is an interesting and challenging subject, too! it should be a little more squiggly and less straight. example: [link] it tends to have one main bright bolt and lots of dimmer bolts branching off of it.
