I really like the arium, the plant intrigues me. If you do not mind me asking, what does the drink taste like? Do humans ever get a hold of it? Or I suppose the aliens that live on this planet? Is it only the lapanid?
I suppose everyone has mentioned this, but I would LOVE to have arium in my back yard.

I like the salus too, but not nearly as much as I like arium. How firm are its stems though? Would it be deathly easy to kill the organism, or nearly impossible?

Inceptia is many many galaxies away from earth x3 and humans would have a hard time living here

the odocanes use tamed lapanids to extract it from the arium because its a delicatesse just like we like chocolate It has a sweet taste ^^

You would have to use some force to break them, its like a thick branch :3

Ahh, thank you for answering my questions. Sorry, I was entirely unaware that Inceptia was /that/ far away.

How would you get to the fen fruits if the water they live in is poisonous with iron? The fruit itself isn't poisonous because it lives off of the filtered water of the trees, but it's still coated in the poisonous water... unless the fruit is more of a citrus, and you would have to peel it before eating..?
I like the ideas of the arium and the salas :] How easy is it to break the stem of the salus? If you accidentally lose your balance and step on the arium, will you get sick? Or is it more based on touching the inside of the fungi (which is more of a defensive mechanism than an offensive)?
If the roots of the Thems come out during the day to catch solar rays, how do they get water from the ground during that time?
You have some lovely concepts coming along--just some questions to help the ideas along the way :3

I love the ideas ^_^ They're absolutely beautiful, and the colors are spectacular. I always love your color choices and painting style.

Yes they are fruit you need to crack open.

you have to be a pretty clumsy person to fall on them because they usually grow close to trees or rock so they are sheilded alittle.

And the fungus is only poisenous inside itself.

And not all the roots come up of the ground, only enough to get energy :3

thanks ^^

It's the best way to fully develop an idea, in my opinion =] I feel like it's just like learning a new language or studying for an exam--explaining it to someone else is the best way to find out more yourself.

I like the idea of the white roots that grow up from the thams. And the salus is cool too, I like that it can also grow on animals c:

Not to be a downer or anything, I love all of this, but shouldn't the roots be black to absorb light? I thought things were white because they reflect all light and black because they absorb it all. Not a big deal really, I just thought I'd point it out.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

griffsnuff In reply to xShaggersx [2010-12-08 18:23:33 +0000 UTC]

Nope they absorb better if they are white because the area around it is so dark. Its not a matter of reflecting colors, they actually steal sunrays by using some kind of magnetic force They are living things.
