These keep flying into my appartment, and I use this tiny cup to take them back outside, this one is the biggest so far

They guys are inside my gutters right now. One stung me two years ago on my lip while I was the gutters. I got a tiny dot on my lip and forever.

Ouch, I hope you are all right!Β I prefer to not touch these insects... I feel a bit nervous when wasps and bees with a normal size or larger are flying around me (because I don't want to be stung)... however I feel fine when there are flying smaller species of wasps and bees. (I saw many small wasps that I think they don't harm people, but they may lay eggs inside other insects, keeping control on the population of caterpillars, for example - I saw them several years ago, but now I don't see them as often as before)

they might have a hive nearby or are trying to make one. supposedly having a crumbled paper bag out side that looks like a hive discourages them.. i have not tried this trick myself.

I like pasta sauce jars. Or old jam jars. The lid makes it easier for me to carry the critter out without worrying I might make a mistake and let it out before I get all the way outside.
