Description
Just Kamala floating on a lake of blood. Officially the first art fully finished on my new tablet! It's really weird to switch because I never had a screen tablet before but I feel like drawing is taking me a bit less time now. Also I rarely draw backgrounds but decided to try this time and I even like the outcome. Personally I consider this art a good start in 2019.
Drawing Kamala is becoming my habit, lol.

What software do you use and how do you shade so well? I try but it always comes out not looking right or sloppy. I'm trying to make my art look neater and have a clean look.

I use Paint Tool Sai! I usually put delicate gradients first - darker and lighter than the main color at parts that should be darker/lighter and then do more solid shadows on a separate layer.
