Description
A wild fun experiment to walk on the shoulders of the greats who came before me. I remember owning "Big Daddy" Roth model kits as a kid. I am a huge fan of his work as well as Ed "Newt" Newton. And while I am at it let us not forget Basil Wolverton and his grotesque but great creations.I decided to go with a Fast and Furious take on the art style and incorporate a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 8.
I am planning to do some more of these "Kreepy Kustoms"

Yea the big experiment here is can the Tuner/Exotic cars of today translate well to the art style. I think it can but I feel I missed the mark a bit. Looking at it finished I should have pushed the caricature of the car more. Considering its my 1st time painting a car. I can see now that my concern about it looking like a car hurt me over all. But I think it's a good start. Look forward to doing more
