Description

The Relay squadron was a clone squadron during the clone wars. Standing under the command of Jedi master Aadi Khalisha, they where mostly found relaying messages to different battalions and other army branches. in the waning months of the clone wars they where send on more daring missions, though being trained troopers and like other clones, battle ready their general was no good general. Master Khalisha was often found a recluse in her own thoughts and had zero to no military experience, she had always been a messenger hence why she gained command of a relay squadron. Though quite nice and nearly always a good humored person master Khalisha and her troopers did not have a good relationship, they thought her useless and unable to command (and they'd be right). When order 66 was initiated the 1044th did not hesitate to execute it, master Khalisha (having always been lost in her thoughts) felt the disturbance and had fled when the troopers came. what became of master Khalisha is unknown though evidence points to her being alive. The 1044th was once again ordered to relay messages for the empire. it was on a relay mission that they ran into a rebel cell and got into a engagement, they where mostly wiped out. Those who survived the skirmish where reintegrated into the imperial army and they became just another batch of storm troopers.
