My first time drawing a Koi like this, so I am
really proud of the result
I don't like a lot ofcolor plus the coloring is kinda crap, and the
paper is an odd shape but I like it enough
This took way longer then I thought it was
going to but Japanese Traditional Tattoo style
is so much harder then American Traditional.
So I tip my hat at anyone who can draw a
Koi fish with ease, beautiful but a challenge.

Wow, I'm really impressed! The way you made that fish bend is kinda anatomically impossible for the fish, but pushing it aside as artistic excentrism, the drawing in general is very beatiful, really. And I don't see why you don't like the colors, they're great! (although kois don't really come in brown...)
PS. It seems to be eating the flower and for some reason I find it hilarious XD

and how it's bending is not my idea, it's seen a lot
in Japanese Traditional tattoo style. And I don't like
the coloring of the cherry blossoms, I rushed them.
And the Koi isn't brown, it's black & gray to help
the blossoms to pop out of the scene better

Oh. Well, it might be my screen or my eyes, but I seriously see it brown xD About the cherry blossoms, they may be rushed, but the fact that they're colored according to the lines, while the koi's colorins is kinda... blurred, visually distinguishes them from the fish and it looks really good ^^

I think it might be your screen. I used charcoal,
which can sometimes have a grayish-brown tint to it.

I my finally finished a painting..i have been working on...a year..(dam..thats long time) in and out..not exactly the way i wanted the lilies to be..but it will have to do.

Yes, exactly. Good thing I just don't like the
coloring, everything else I am surprised that
I finished them as I did 
Each painting has their own time needed. They are
all different. So I don't think it's that long.

I love coloring...can't put up with black and white..I guess thts why I dnt draw.. but I agree...every drawing/painting wants its own time

& gray over coloring any day. Minor coloring
with black and gray is my favorite. It makes
both pop on their on and with the help of
each other
I really like how you painted the sky, the moon
and the clouds look lovely & realistic. The lilies
are pretty but they don't pop as much as the sky
to me but since your mother is your moon it makes
since that the sky would out shine the lilies

I meant the sky was the easiest to paint...i guess because i let it just flow...
Maybe in few years i will come back to the lilies...becouse i feel as if i have not made them my friend just yet.
