Description
I wanted to do an Ace tribute so here it is! I wanted to incorporate Ace's accessories and a candle but didn't know exactly how to do it. And voila! a recent OP chapter contained Ace's grave. I had this pose in mind but I knew I got it from somewhere... I browsed through my OP manga and found out I got it from the cover of volume 24. And then Oda goes and does this pose for the latest OP chapter as well.... oh well, pose isn't original put very appropriate for the drawing.

After completing the sketch, I knew the background would not be inked and I know Luffy not being inked would be so much better. But I figured at my skill level, I could not detail the hands ad could not do the closed eyes without inking it.... ugggg definitely would have looked WAY better with out the ink >.>

This is the first drawing where I enjoyed doing the background more than the character! It was really fun detailing the flowers~~~
