Reminds me of Stranger from OddWorld. Great color choices! The fingers are a nice touch too, makes him other worldly.

Well, I couldn't help but return the favor. I really do appreciate comments, we all do. But you rarely get them on old works but when I do, I try to show as much appreciation as possible.

Charming. I like that pose and the long fingers especially. The pose almost looks like the character moves in the wind, which gives the whole thing a special mood. The face of this guy is mysterious and interesting too.

Or better yet, they're in cahoots. People enter the desert expecting to die and all they see is this cute little fox. Then it... like.. decapitates them and roasts them over a little candle.
.... Anyway. Darling sculpture with a darling story. I like the posture and fwishy cape and tail.

And if people decide to wander into that vast desert, they can run into my fennec fox for a rest by a camp-fire. xD
I like this. I'm new to using super-sculpey, and I'm having a bit of trouble getting paint to stick to it. Any suggestions?

yeah, use acrylic paint, I know the oil paint doesn't work too well and water color doesn't even stick.
Cheep craft acrylic paints work pretty well but I heard that these paints [link] are great, especially for super sculpey.

I put Gesso (sp) on it as a primer, it works really well for the first coat, then to do the acrylic on it afterwards. Just straight acrylic peels off or you can see the clay through it still. <<;

well, I have never used Gesso for super sculpey sculptures. I did use a glaze from the super sculpey company on this and then painted over it but it didn't have much of a change when you just paint right on the sculpture.

Yes, after reloading the OS and all my software. My monitor died, so I'm using a tiny little CRT until I can replace it. All in all, very symbolic of how life is at the moment.. . .

I think Viewsonic has some sort of design flaw in their monitors. They are going to replace it, but there's a chance I'll end up with the same problem. :-0

I hate it when companies do that. its usually just setting ya up for another broken monitor.

It's an obvious design flaw, so I think if I have the same problem again, i'll just sue the company for fraud. After all, it's not like there isn't tons of stuff on the internet to prove my case.
in the meantime, tell everyone you know to avoid Viewsonic products.
