Eon was in no hurry to deliver the captured Everlight into its enclosure. Bound during its capture to Eons energetic field, it wouldn’t wander off to far away anyway.
As the Lightkeeper for the monastery of Arinsetr, Eon had an important role to play. He would journey to the neighboring mountains for weeks and months at a time to find the precious little lights, which, powered by the energetic fields of Loulais, are shining bright with an eternal light. Providing light is not the only use for those magical little balls of energy, but some of those uses are too dark and terrible to speak of, and the knowledge is hidden deep down in the ancient treasury of the catacombs.
